Song- We are heirs of the father, we are joint-heirs with the son, We are children of His Kingdom, we are family, we are one
Scriptural passage
“For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union with the Christ, the Anointed] have clothed yourselves with Christ [that is, you have taken on His characteristics and values].
There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority].
And if you belong to Christ [if you are in Him], then you are Abraham’s descendants, and [spiritual] heirs according to [God’s] promise.”
Galatians 3:26-29 AMP
What are rights?
Merriam-Webster defines rights thus
A right is something to which one has a just claim
It is the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled
Rights are those things that one is morally or legally entitled to do or have
Christ fullness and storehouse from where we enjoy the full rights of sonship
“And from the overflow of his fullness, we received grace heaped upon more grace!”
John 1:16 TPT
Whatever Christ has, we are entitled to
What brought you into such rights and privileges?
Your faith in Christ and your reception of the gospel
“But to as many, as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—”
John 1:12 AMP
For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God himself.
And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that he is and all that he has. We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.”
Romans 8:16-17 TPT
Privileges
“For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favour and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes, He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).”
2 Corinthians 8:9 AMPC
Redemption packages

Revelation 7:12 AMP

Revelation 5:12 AMP
1. Power
Authority, influence
Jesus sphere of influence
all authority in heaven and earth has been given to me Matthew 28:18,
“Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:9-11 AMPC
“And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come. And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], [Ps. 8:6.] Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].”
Ephesians 1:19-23 AMPC
and he has given us the same authority to trample on all the powers of the enemy
“Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.”
Luke 10:19 AMP
“And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).”
Ephesians 2:6 AMPC
2. Riches
“For you are recognizing [more clearly] the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [His astonishing kindness, His generosity, His gracious favour], that though He was rich, yet for your sake, He became poor so that by His poverty you might become rich (abundantly blessed).”
2 Corinthians 8:9 AMP
He owns everything
“All things were made and came into existence through Him, and without Him, not even one thing was made that has come into being.”
John 1:3 AMP
3. Wisdom
“But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God [revealing His plan of salvation], and righteousness [making us acceptable to God], and sanctification [making us holy and setting us apart for God], and redemption [providing our ransom from the penalty for sin],”
1 Corinthians 1:30 AMP
“for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you!”
Luke 21:15 NLT
“For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 2:16 NLT
If anyone lacks wisdom let them ask
4. Might
Might is bodily strength
It is the power, energy, or intensity of which one is capable
Our God is mighty and his weapons are full of might
“For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,”
2 Corinthians 10:3-4 AMPC
This is the strength and might that is infused into us
“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].”
Philippians 4:13
5. Honour
Honour is evidence or symbol of distinction:
God placed Christ in the place of highest honour
Hebrews 1:4-6, 8-9, 13
“[Taking a place and rank by which] He Himself became as much superior to angels as the glorious Name (title) which He has inherited is different from and more excellent than theirs.
For to which of the angels did [God] ever say, You are My Son, today I have begotten You [established You in an official Sonship relation, with kingly dignity]?
And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He will be to Me a Son? [II Sam. 7:14; Ps. 2:7.] Moreover, when He brings the firstborn Son again into the habitable world, He says, Let all the angels of God worship Him.
But as to the Son, He says to Him, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever (to the ages of the ages), and the sceptre of Your kingdom is a sceptre of absolute righteousness (of justice and straightforwardness).
You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore God, [even] Your God (Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions. [Ps. 45:6, 7.]
Besides, to which of the angels has He ever said, Sit at My right hand [associated with Me in My royal dignity] till I make your enemies a stool for your feet? [Ps. 110:1.]”
Hebrews 1:4-6, 8-9, 13 AMPC
The victory of Christ has brought us great honour
“Your victory brings him great honour, and you have clothed him with splendour and majesty.”
Psalms 21:5 NLT
“But you are God’s chosen treasure —priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvellous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. For at one time you were not God’s people, but now you are. At one time you knew nothing of God’s mercy because you hadn’t received it yet, but now you are drenched with it!”
1 Peter 2:9-10 TPT
6. Glory
God brought us into the glory of His son as soon as we give our lives to Him
“And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].”
Romans 8:30 AMPC
7. Blessing
We inherit the blessing of Abraham immediately we give our lives to Christ
“in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might also come to the Gentiles so that we would all receive [the realization of] the promise of the [Holy] Spirit through faith.”
Galatians 3:14 AMP
“and never return evil for evil or insult for insult [avoid scolding, berating, and any kind of abuse], but on the contrary, give a blessing [pray for one another’s well-being, contentment, and protection]; for you have been called for this very purpose, that you might inherit a blessing [from God that brings well-being, happiness, and protection].”
1 Peter 3:9 AMP
“You have endowed him with eternal blessings and given him the joy of your presence.”
Psalms 21:6 NLT
Other entitlements
Free access to God
“in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him [that is, our faith gives us sufficient courage to freely and openly approach God through Christ].”
Ephesians 3:12 AMP
Answered prayers
“For here is eternal truth: When that time comes you won’t need to ask me for anything, but instead you will go directly to the Father and ask him for anything you desire and he will give it to you, because of your relationship with me.”
John 16:23 TPT
The ministry of The Holy Spirit
“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!””
Romans 8:14-16 TPT
Everything works for your good
“So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfil his designed purpose. For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him. Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!”
Romans 8:28-30 TPT
Access to constant intercession of Christ
He is able to save to the uttermost for He lives to intercede for us.
“Therefore He is able also to save forever (completely, perfectly, for eternity) those who come to God through Him since He always lives to intercede and intervene on their behalf [with God].”
Hebrews 7:25 AMP
He only intercedes for His own. So if you belong to Him you can be sure of the privilege of the intercessory ministry of our Lord
Access to an advocate when accused or under condemnation.
“My little children (believers, dear ones), I am writing you these things so that you will not sin and violate God’s law. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate [who will intercede for us] with the Father: Jesus Christ the righteous [the upright, the just One, who conforms to the Father’s will in every way—purpose, thought, and action].”
1 John 2:1 AMP
Prayer
Without the new birth, you don’t have any access to these privileges. In fact, you have no right or entitlement
Will you take the step to rededicate yourself to Christ, making Him the Lord and Saviour of your life?
Your faith in Him opens up access to all the rights and privileges of redemption
Father, we thank you for the redemption package we have in Christ.
Confessions of my rights and privileges in Christ Jesus my Lord
Since I belong to Christ, I am now Abraham’s “child” and a true heir of all his blessings
By the virtue of my faith in Christ I have access to the redemption package of power, might, glory, riches, honour, wisdom and blessing
I experience the extravagant grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was infinitely rich, he impoverished himself for my sake so that by his poverty, I become rich beyond measure.
As God’s true child, I qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, I am an heir of God himself
And since I am joined to Christ, I also inherit all that he is and all that he has
I will stay true to what I have already attained in Him and will yet attain by His grace in Jesus name. Amen
