The Son is the radiance of God’s glory
“He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high,”
Hebrews 1:3 AMPC
Facts about glory
1. Glory is revelational
2. Glory is visible, it is to be seen. It is not hidden,
that is why Moses asked the Lord to show him His glory
“And Moses said, I beseech You, show me Your glory.”
Exodus 33:18 AMPC
“And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honour, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favour, loving-kindness) and truth. [Isa. 40:5.]”
John 1:14 AMPC
3. Glory belongs to God, It is God that glorifies
“WHEN JESUS had spoken these things, He lifted up His eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify and exalt and honour and magnify Your Son, so that Your Son may glorify and extol and honour and magnify You.”
John 17:1 AMPC
Rom 8:18

1st dimension - Revealed to us
- to us, John 1:14 Col 1:26
Characteristics of the 1st dimension of glory....
1. it is Revelational in nature. It comes in form of secrets, dreams, visions, like the glory that was revealed to the disciples on the mount of transfiguration, like the revelation given to John on the island of Patmos
“Jesus replied to them, “To you, it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them, it has not been granted.”
Matthew 13:11 AMP
“The entire vision [of all these things] will be to you like the words of a scroll that is sealed, which they give to one who can read, saying, “Read this, please,” he shall say, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”
Isaiah 29:11 AMP
2. There’s a capacity to receive the revelation which is given not unto all men
“But He said to them, “Not all men can accept this statement, but only those to whom [the capacity to receive] it has been given.”
Matthew 19:11 AMP
3. It involves the ability to see
“And He said, “To you [who have been chosen] it has been granted to know and recognize the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is in parables, so that though SEEING THEY MAY NOT SEE, AND HEARING THEY MAY NOT UNDERSTAND.”
Luke 8:10 AMP
4. The Holy Spirit is the dispenser of this revelation
“For God has unveiled them and revealed them to us through the [Holy] Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things [diligently], even [sounding and measuring] the [profound] depths of God [the divine counsels and things far beyond human understanding].”
1 Corinthians 2:10 AMP
5. The revelation is about the glory of Jesus Christ, it’s about Him and what will glorify Him.
“This is the revelation of Jesus Christ [His unveiling of the divine mysteries], which God [the Father] gave to Him to show to His bond-servants (believers) the things which must soon take place [in their entirety]; and He sent and communicated it by His angel (divine messenger) to His bond-servant John,”
Revelation 1:1 AMP
“I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”
Colossians 2:2-3 NLT
These revelations are unto our glory
“but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom once hidden [from man, but now revealed to us by God, that wisdom] which God predestined before the ages to our glory [to lift us into the glory of His presence].”
1 Corinthians 2:7 AMP
How does revelation bring glory to us?
It’s transformational in nature
“And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.”
2 Corinthians 3:18
It’s like metamorphosis
It is for our transfiguration
Romans 12:2
Peter was transformed by the revelation of Christ
“Jesus replied, “You are favoured and privileged Simeon, son of Jonah! For you didn’t discover this on your own, but my Father in heaven has supernaturally revealed it to you.
I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this rock will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build my church— my legislative assembly, and the power of death will not be able to overpower it!
I will give you the keys of heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.””
Matthew 16:17-19 TPT
Prayer
Glory is revelational, father may I grow in revelation in this month of glory.
“[For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),”
Ephesians 1:17-18 AMPC
